WHERE WE HAVE COME FROM

In 1984 we started to make tofu in New Zealand. Back then people saw us as a little mad but as time has gone by and people have stopped seeing vegetarian eating as some kind of fringe lunacy, we've become a well recognised and sometimes even well-loved part of the Kiwi diet.

And helped by continuing the good news about how healthy soy is, the ever increasing presence of Asian foods in our diets and a growing concern with healthy bodies tofu today is pretty mainstream food. We'd like to think we played a part in helping vegetarians emerge from the fringes. Today about 20% of people say they are veges or nearly so. Good on them we say.

Today we put all our dedication into making the best tasting tofu there is. And we've been relentless in making sure that there is an ever widening choice of things you might like to eat from our range.

By the way we have won several awards for innovative new products. And  that was before we bought all our new sparkling equipment from Japan to make even better Tofu. So watch this space.
