Bean Supreme : Good Health & Good Taste

Firm Style

The most well known of the traditional soyfoods, Tofu is high in protein, easy to digest and very versatile.

We've always offered Tofu in blocks which can be cut up when cooking and thrown into stir fries and salads.

We make our Tofu from fresh soymilk which is coagulated with a small amount of a Calcium salt. The resulting curd is then pressed into large cakes ready to be cut and packaged for sale. The firmer the Tofu the higher the protein levels.

Serving Idea

Whilst you will find a number of terrific recipes on this site and in our links here is one recipe I really love.

Cut the firm tofu block up into long strips about 10mm in thickness. Dip into flour and beaten egg and then into crispy breadcrumbs. Fry lightly over a medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Season and serve.

Just like that - yes indeed. They're a delcious crispy snack. But if you're moved to do it toss these in a salad and use a light soy and ginger salad dressing.
